South Combe is passionately run by Christian and Natasha. Both spent many years in the hospitality industry with Christian heading off into the IT world some 20 years ago and Natasha pursuing amongst other things a successful online retail business, Spiritual healing and art - her main passion in life. Don’t be surprised if you see her around South Combe with an easel out painting the wonderful views!
Christian has been a passionate angler since he was a child and has specifically targeted big carp for the last 2 decades holding a personal best UK Common Carp of 36lbs. If there are any fishing questions or anything you need then he is the person to ask!
Meet Gladys our 2 year old Newfoundland and Head Life Guard! Loving and caring but very clumsy, our girl Gladys is a skillful swimmer and won’t be afraid to show you! Our top tip is, keep the bait lids shut! She may look huge but she is as soft as butter.
Last but not least is Agatha our beloved Chow Chow. 6 years old and blind for about 3 years now she heads the security team at South Combe! Honestly, she is all noise but Chows are shy around strangers so they just like letting you know they are there! Our top tip with Agatha is to just ignore her.
